Japan Academy Awards 2013

El pasado viernes 8 de marzo, la Japan Academy otorgó unos premios muy repartidos, aunque se podría decir que el drama de instituto Bukatsu Yamateruyyo (The Kirishima Thing) de Daihachi Yoshida es la gran vencedora del certamen con el Premio a la Mejor Película del Año y el Premio al Mejor Director.  Okami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children) se impone a Evangelion 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, Una carta para Momo, One Piece Film Z.

Last Friday, March 8, the Japan Academy gave its very spread out awards, but we could say that the high school drama Bukatsu Yamateruyyo (The Kirishima Thing) by Daihachi Yoshida is the big winner of the contest with the award for Best Film of the Year and the award for Best Director.   Okami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children) imposes on Evangelion 3.0 You Can (Not) RedoA Letter to MomoOne Piece Film Z.

El mejor actor recae en Hiroshi Abe por su papel en el live-action del manga Thermae Romae que ha ganado unos 66 millones de dólares en las taquillas japonesas y la mejor actriz en Kirin Kiki por el drama Waga haha no ki de Masato Harada.  En la categoría de Mejor Película Extranjera, la comedia francesa Los intocables vence a la oscarizada Argo.

The best actor falls on Hiroshi Abe for his role in the live-action manga Thermae Romae which has reached $66 million at the Japanese box office and the best Japanese actress was for Kirin Kiki for the drama Waga haha no ki by Masato Harada.  In the category of Best Foreign Film, the French comedy The Intouchables beat the oscarized Argo.
